Can a woman be sexist? Apparently the answer is yes. Or at least narrow-minded. Lauren DuBois creates a list for The Celebrity Cafe promising,
the movies that made women swoon in 2012
Hmmm. Probably not most of the women I know. And before you say I don’t know any straight women, that’s a lie. I know more straight women than gay women because that’s just the numbers. I know very few women who like these kind of schlocky films. If DuBois called this a guilty-pleasure list, or a Rom-Com addicts list, I could stomach the list. But how exactly do you lump 50% of the population into one category? And where are the statistics that state these are “women’s” favorite films? Honestly, either be more specific, get your facts straight or just say, “these are the top ten films I love” like I do on this blog. Speaking for others can be dangerous.
Read the entire list here if you don’t mind cringing.

How right you are! Cringworthy with the exception of Hope Springs and Amour…guess my age is showing.

Not your age, just your taste, Julia.
